What do we do?

We offer a private and confidential therapeutic service to help you develop skills and strategies to manage distress and to improve your psychological wellbeing and sense of fulfilment.

We have extensive experience of working with adults with a wide range of psychological and emotional difficulties and we are able to offer a variety of therapeutic approaches and interventions that have been scientifically researched.

We work with you sensitively to understand your needs and what you hope to achieve and we adapt our therapeutic approach to suit you. We aim to develop a good therapeutic relationship, working together towards your goals.

Why would you see us?

We know that life can be challenging and difficult to manage at times. As Doctors of Clinical Psychology, we are highly trained in the use of a broad range of evidenced-based therapeutic approaches which are known to be beneficial in managing difficulties such as:

  • Anxieties including obsessive behaviours
  • Phobias (e.g. agoraphobia, social phobia)
  • Panic attacks
  • Low mood/Depression
  • Stress-related problems
  • Adjustment to and management of life changes including loss, health problems and other life events
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Sleep disturbance
  • Bereavement/complex grief reactions
  • Occupational stress
  • Trauma
  • Low self-esteem/assertiveness problems/anger management

This list is not exhaustive and you may experience more than one of the above issues. If you think that anxiety, mood or behaviour has become problematic and affects the way you feel and do things, it may be that psychological support and intervention could help.
